Bowling–not my cup of tea

30 Jan

Sooo, we are going bowling.  I’m not good at it, but it can be fun. It’s a last day activity for us to do together as a family, assuming my oldest can go (hint hint if you’re reading).  That’s 2 days in a row we do something I’m not good at…yeterday was ice skating. I pretty much sat it out and took pictures/video.

God gave me many talents but ice skating and bowling are not two of them. Haha! Off we go….

Had a super great time after all. Yeah, I wasn’t so bad at first…but can you believe SOMEONE STOLE MY BALL. You know how you find just the right size, weight, and it actually fits your fingers, well I found one….well to be totally honest, my son found one, but it was great. It only weighed 9 lbs with the finger holes big enough to fit an adult. Yep. When the game ended, I excused myself to the ladies room, 3 of our players opted to leave so hubby went to have the employee remove them. Someone must’ve thought that we were done because they walked right up and took the ball. Of course, no one notices until it’s my turn. And I might add that for a Monday night, this pretty big size bowling alley is pretty much full. I was surprised and a little upset at this. But I got over it, because if you remmeber, bolwing is not my cup of tea. So I was ok. I just sucked more than usual, but it’s not like was trying out for a league or anything like that. LIfe goes on.
